Mother's Day Challenge

En Español

¡Venid los moradores, del campo y la ciudad 🎶! It's Mother's Month.

Every day should be Mother's Day, but once a year we go all out to celebrate mamá and honor abuelas, tías, and other maternal figures.

Tia Clara.
Mi hija y yo.

📢 It's the perfect month to start a new tradition in our little family of Dominican food lovers: A monthly challenge to cook a Dominican dish together.

The idea is to choose a dish with ingredients that are relatively easy to find wherever you are, and that fits the season.

For Mother's Month, we've picked a favorite together. This month's dish?

Tostones rellenos.
Tostones rellenos.

¡Tostones rellenos!

Also known as mofonguitos, canasticas de plátanos, o copitas de tostones, this dish is suitable for many diets (check out other fillings, including vegan and vegetarian options.)

Give it a try!

📌 All you have to do is cook the tostones rellenos recipe and leave a comment or review on the recipe (upload a photo you took of your dish) starting today and before May 31 (remember to make sure your email address-which remains private-is correct).

🎁 I'll randomly select a comment to send a little gift no matter where you are (the gift may vary depending on your location).

Tostones rellenos.
↑ With chivo in Pepillo Salcedo & crab and avocado in Monseñor Nouel 😋

¿Te animas? It'll be fun to see what you stuff them with and how they turn out.

If you have any questions about the challenge or the recipe, just reply to this email and let me know.

Con cariño ❤️,

Tia Clara
