This lovely tropical fruit makes an amazing Batida de Granadillo (Giant Granadilla Milkshake) that we Dominicans love and can never have enough of.

granadillo (giant granadilla)

sugar (white, granulated)
or equivalent sweetener

tablespoon
vanilla extract

quarts
evaporated milk
[2 lt] (see notes)

Instructions
1. Blend
Peel and chop the granadillo. Combine all the ingredients in a heavy-duty blender until it's very smooth.
2. Serving
Serve immediately.

Nutritional information is calculated based on the nispero milkshake, and using sugar.
Lactose-free, vegan milkshakes
Use almond milk (or your preferrred substitute). I hear from our readers (I haven't tried it) that coconut milk is great for this purpose.
