HOW TO MAKE HOMEMADE

Breadcrumbs and panko are used in a number of our recipes, and many others. Learn how to make them at home, and never throw away day-old bread again

Easy Inexpensive

INGREDIENTS

White bread Optional Garlic powder Pepper Olive oil Salt

Grind

Grind the bread in the food processor. Sift with a sieve with large holes, and discard (or grind again) the big chunks.

Toasting

Spread on a baking sheet and toast in the oven or toaster oven until lightly golden.

Storing

Sift with a sieve with large holes, and discard (or grind again) the big chunks. Put in an airtight container and use or refrigerate. –
