Giving is more than a duty, it’s a privilege. Last week the Ann and Ted Kheel Polytechnic in Verón honored us by accepting our donation to its library.
The polytechnic is the only high school in the small town of Verón. It was built by the PuntaCana Foundation and is supported by the foundation and private donations.
As well as providing a high school education for local students, it also provides them with technical skills that will enable them to make a living even if they don’t go on to university, in areas like computer science, hostelry, electricity, plumbing, refrigeration, and English.
Reading is something that is very close to our hearts, and this is one of the best ways we thought we could contribute to these talented young people.
Thanks to Father Toro (principal) and Ms. Pilier (PuntaCana Foundation) for giving us their time to accept the donation

Thanks to our friend Amity Beane for taking the photos to illustrate this post and for authorising their use.
