| Unfortunately I have never heard of this, I have only seen coconut oil used in Samanense cuisine. There's also the problem that coconut oil burns at very low temperature, I don't know how you could fry something in it. |

| Fish with Coconut Milk The way I do my fish with coconut is as follows: 1.I do not fry the fish. I season it with garlic, lemon juice, salt and pepper. 2. I cook it in a pan with olive oil until tender and have a nice color 3. Then I add a can of cocunut milk and tomato paste and lots of onions. 4. It is delicious over rice and tostones. |
