| Dominican cook virgin Hello. I have recently married a Dominican, I myself being English and coming to this country since 2001. I lived here last year and not ONCE cooked Dominican food, but love it when my hubby cooks! Well, living here again and being married now to Ramon, I want to suprise him and make a nice (well all of it is nice) lunch for when he returns home from work one day. As it would be my first attempt at Dominican cooking what would you suggest is best? P.S I really would like to be able to buy your cookbook but no-one sells it here in Rio San Juan |

| Welcome to dominicancooking from a fellow Brit in the DR! I would suggest trying fish in coconut sauce, rice and beans, tostones or a combination of any of the above for a first attempt. Good luck! You can order the cookbook online from our store. Feel free to send me a Private Message if you need more information. |
