 Hi from Miami! I just want to express my gratitude for this site!  I come from Dominican parents but recently I feel like I'm losing site of my roots. 12yrs ago I met a boy who is now my husband. He is Venezuelan and Colombian (but enjoys very much Dom cusine). We have been living in Miami, FL for about a yr. Ive been away frm my family in NY so I feel like Im missing out on my Dominican culture. Being a young wife I didnt have the opportunity to really shadow my moms cusine (she currently resides in Dom Rep). Im sccared my 8 yr old boy is going to miss out on his Dominican side. I woke up in the mood of eating Sancocho on this rainy day so I logged in and google I found u guys  . So thank u i know ill b taking advantage of this site more often      |
