hi all! im new here!

Hi everyone! im 28 yr old dominican raised mostly in NYC. I cant cook for the life of me. i think its time i learned though. i feel like a fraud sometimes, hahah. really excited to have found this website.

Hi guys! thanks for the welcome messages! I tried the flan this past weekend ;-( i have to try again...something was off. my caramel sugar was a little bitter. I'll try again this weekend.

It's supposed to be just a bit bitter. If it's too bitter it meant that it burnt. You need to boil a little less.
