Smile Hello Everyone

Hello, I'm new to this website. I am not Dominican, but I do come from Dominica W.I. I am actually married to a Colombian who is currently in the U.S. military. We have been able to travel to a few places and different parts of Europe, and have sampled different foods from that part of the world. Being that we come from 2 different cultures, it is cool to find out that we actually have a lot of similar foods with different names. I really enjoy the spanish culture and I am always trying to learn new recipes to make for my husband and kids. I am sure I will love meeting new people and being part of this website.

Welcome - and look forward to hearing about your 'Dominican' cooking traditions too!
