Took me a while. but I hope this coulp help you out. Also welcome to the forum and we hope to see more of you.

Piñonate

INGREDIENTES: 3 docenas de huevos, ¼ kilo de miel, 50 gr. de ajonjolí tostado, harina la que admita,50 gr. de canela molida, ½ kilo de almendras peladas y fritas, 1 cuartillo de piñones, aceite y vino.
ELABORACIÓN: Se baten los huevos por espacio de una hora y se empieza a echar la harina; cuando no puede batirse más se amasa con las manos, añadiéndose medio cascarón de aceite.
Cuando la masa está como la del pan, se hacen unas tortillas con un poco de masa y se cortan del tamaño de almendras, friéndolas en abundante aceite caliente.
Cuando la masa está frita, se echa en un lebrillo y se añaden los piñones mondados, la canela y el ajonjolí, ligeramente tostado y 2 cucharadas de harina. En un caldero se pone a hervir la miel, que estará en su punto si al echar un poquito en un plato con agua fría puede formarse una bola blanda.
Se mezclan los ingredientes del lebrillo y se les añade la miel, revolviendo con dos platos el conjunto; bien mezclando todos se mojan las manos en vino y se van haciendo las piña, antes que la masa se enfríe, y se envuelven en papel de seda

gracias mil por la receta!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!imaginate que yo nunca habia tratado de hacer yaniqueques y desde hace 3 domingos, los estoy cocinando. estan quedando riquisimos y a mi esposo l le encantan. tambien cambien un poco la receta, le anadi azucar de canela a la msa y quedo espectacular. la proxima semana le voy anadir queso y tratar. luego les cuento.

reply to santiago dr girl, pinonate is a very old form of mAKING DULCE DE COCO CON PINA, MOSTLY COOKED ON A POT BY OUR DOMINICAN GRANDPARENTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!ITS REALLY GOOD, THEY ARE FROM DULCES DE LA NINEZ(I AM PAST 50 YRS OLD, SO IF YOU ARE A YOUNG PERSON, MORE THAN LIKELY, YOU HAVE NOT HEARD OF THIS DOMINICAN DULCE, WHICH IS PRONOUNCED LIKE THE WORD NINO (PINONATE), ITS KINDA OF GOOEY, VERY SOFT AND sticky. DOMIGIRL

oh ok yeah that way it sound like something I have never heard I'm 25, but I think I will try the recipe.
