| I remember many many years ago as a little girl in Santo Domingo (during Trujillo's era) l950-1951, Many women would be in the streets selling mondongo in big pots placed above their heads. It was delicious then but, I don't know whether I would still find it delicious now. I guess mainly because of health reasons. All that fat that it probaby contains. Although I wouuld like to try it again. I can't cook Dominican style but I love Dominican foods. I guess we are more health conscious nowadays. |
