We are looking into having at least one contest every month to reward our members for their loyalty. The only requisite to participate is that you be a registered member. If you are not registered, do so, it is free, quick and easy (if only more things in life were!).

So, without further ado let's have our October contest. The prize, if you live in the European Union, Canada, United States or Puerto Rico is a copy of our cookbook 100 Traditional Dominican Recipes. If you live in the Dominican Rep. you can opt for either the book or a polo shirt with our logo embroidered on it (sizes small to large only, delivery outside Santo Domingo by Caribe Tours only). If you don't live in any of those places you can participate if you are willing to pay for the shipping.

This is very simple. We are going to have 25 trivia questions divided into 5 rounds of 5 questions. The answers to the questions might be found somewhere in our site. Questions will start easy and get increasingly more difficult till we reach the end.

If you know the answers post them here. Even if somebody else did it first, because otherwise you will not be on record as answering those questions. There is a catch, if you don't answer all the questions, or fail one, the next poster can use your answers and add his/her own. Once we post a new round of questions the previous one will be closed.

The first person to answer all 50 questions correctly wins. If nobody answers all of them the one with the most correct answers at closing time wins. In case of a tie we'll seek a method to decide who wins, and our decision is final.

To make it even easier (yes, we do want to give out that prize) we'll cut the questions to 25 (5 rounds of five). Now there are less excuses not to participate. And do it quick because when I post the next batch of questions you can't answer the previous ones and will be at a disadvantage.
