| Ever since we started this site it became clear that with no photos to illustrate the recipes the site would not be as effective (and attractive) as it should be. Those of us who know Dominican cooking very well know what the dishes are supposed to look like, those who don't would have no clue what to aim for. When we started, because of space constraints, and because of the quality of the camera we had (and zero experience in food photography) the photos were not as good as we wanted them to be. In the last week or so I have been changing the photos from all the recipes to much larger versions, and almost in all cases to new, better quality photos. So, enjoy! We regularly add new recipes too (as time permits), so we have an ever-growing collection of Dominican recipes. Eventually we'll have the largest collection of Dominican recipes with photos (if we don't already have). |

| I was wondering if the DR cake could be made in wedding layer forms/amounts I will try to make one and decorate it. I will take a picture and post it here. I love a challenge and want to offer this cake on my website for one of the flavors a bride may choose. |
