Question Have you ever invited anyone to our site?

Our old site had an invitation system that I didn't like very much as it invited people to the front page and not necessarily to the exact page where the person intended the guest to arrive. In the new site the invitation works much better.

If you want to invite anyone to see a recipe you can do so by following a link on the right hand menu next to the recipe, same goes for the articles. If you wan to invite anyone to see a discussion in our forum the invitation link is in the dropdown menu on top of the first post. It reads Email this Page and it will send a link to the exact page to the person you are inviting.

OK, so have you ever invited anyone to our site? Who?

Yesterday I found out that one of my sisters-in-law has launched herself into cyberspace with the zeal of the newly converted. She's a keen cook, so I gave her the cocinadominicana.com address - I'm sure she'll make an appearance on the forums sooner or later.
I tell most of my foodie and/or DR loving friends about the site at every opportunity, of course, but I've never used the 'tell a friend' feature. I'll have to try it out.

Myspace is very popular and they also have some Dominican chat room or forums. But I have not seen one on cooking. So good luck and I will try to make it there once I get connected with my dsl.

Thanks for spreading the word.

I'd rather you just invite people that are genuinely interested in our cuisine. We encourage our friends to use proper netiquette.
