Hi everyone,
I'm new to the group and wanted to say hi. I joined because I want to surprise my husband with cooking traditional Dominican dishes . My husband is Dominican although I am not we have been married for 6 years which has been very interesting . I am a new mother, my daughter is 6 months old with me raising her by myself since my husband is currently in Iraq for 1 year ( left in Sept 2006) .

Welcome to our site. We hope that you enjoy our community and participate. I am also a new mom (16 mo baby daughter), so hang around, we talk about kid stuff some times, and there seems to be a few new moms around.

Maybe we should have a photo gallery so that we can show off the sprouts.
