| Question re: potato and gem squash used in lentil recipe Hi Aunt Clara, I recently purchased your cook book, I love it and cannot wait to start cooking! The pictures are very helpful as well. I was looking at your recipe for Lentejas and see that it includes potatoes and gem squash cut into small cubes. I assume that I should bake the squash and potatoes first, is that right? I am sorry if this is a stupid question! Thank you for your help, Yasmin |

| It isn't a stupid question, actually sounds like a great idea. But in the Dominican version of this recipe the squash and potatoes are boiled in the lentil "stew". |
