Ever consider solar energy?

Well you should!!!! Being sustainable is becoming more of a trend. One good way of going green is solar energy. It's good for the environment and for your pockets. You see; solar energy is free and, in the US at least, you may even get the power company to pay you if you generate more energy than you use! I know they say the intial cost to go solar is high, but there are some do it yourself kits that can get you going solar for about $200. I've done some research because I intend on going solar myself for home and the restaurant I plan on having by five years time. The most promising kit so far is called earth 4 energy. Here's the link:

Earth4Energy.com - Create electricity at home - renewable energy. Make a windmill and solar power system

look it up to help kick off this trend and keep it around for our planet's sake.

Also; to reduce the amount of trash you create, buy products with recyclable packaging and, as far as food goes, go here:

Cooked Food Solar Composter

it is a great way to eliminate trash altogether!!!!!

Have Diaper wearing babies?

Try reusable diapers. It may take a little more work to maintain, but when you think of the money you spend on diapers until your baby's two; you're really saving a bundle as well as the environment!!!!!

When I was pregnant I decided to use reusable diapers. To that purpose I bought hundreds of dollars of reusable diapers, both premies and newborn sizes, just in case. That it was an expensive project (I had to import the diapers into the DR, as they are not available there) did not matter, I was resolute.

Then my daughter was born at almost 12 pounds. I hadn't counted on it and had no diapers her size, and no time, obviously, to import some more. Then my husband refused to expend more money on it and I passed all the reusable diapers to another well-meaning mom-to-be.

I am not going to have more kids, but if I were I'd probably give it a go again.

Lawiwi, these are not our mother's Corona diapers. These things are very well thought-out. I bought all mine. Google Fuzzibunz, which is the brand I bought.
