Question For lazy cooks?

Have you heard of the latest health foods craze? Say hello to Raw Foodism. Yeah, that's right. If a vegan lifestyle is just too indulging for you, then raw foodism is for you.

Raw foodists only eat what they call "living foods", that is fruits, vegetables and nuts that have not been cooked. No foods of animal origin of any kind.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to find much balanced information on this. Articles were either skeptical or blindly enthusiastic. Some include a healthy measure of woo-wooism ("connectedness with nature"? really?) with some, hmmm...er strange information thrown in (testing your blood's PH, c'mon?!).

The "lazy cooks" comment was tongue in cheek. Raw foodism includes some measure of cooking food assembly.

For a pro-view. I was not able to find any mention of this regime in the USDA, AMA or the CDC website.

I'll keep looking and we'll see if we can write an article about it.

Hmm...

Does that mean one can't eat meat? How about desserts? That does sound a bit extreme to me.

No, no meat. Desserts can be made using raw fruit.

And yes, I also find it a bit extreme.
