Desserts - Beverages A good Dominican meal will not be complete without a dulcito (a sweet) right before 'el cafecito' that dots the i in our meals. A tropical country and a great variety of fruits make for Dominicans' taste for juices and shakes.

Real Pine Colada umm I love pina colada. But these recipe is not a pina colada. And these is also a Puerto Rican drink. 2 oz light or spiced Puerto Rican rum, 5 oz pineapple juice, 1-1/2 cups of coco Lopez coconut cream, 1 cup ice, 1 maraschino cherry, 1 pineapple slice. In a blender, combine rum, pineapple juice, coconut cream and ice. Blend well at high speed. Pour into a collins glass and garnish with cherry and pineapple slice.
