Dulce de leche y piña (Milk and pineapple fudge)

This is a very simple recipe that combines textures and a touch of sour from the pineapple.

Difficulty: Easy
Serve: 4 people

Before starting to cook: No previous preparation is required.

Ingredients:

6 cups of milk
1 1/2 cups of sugar
2 teaspoons of vanilla
3 cups of pineapple cut into slices
3 cinnamon sticks

Preparation:

In a bowl mix 4 cups of water, cinnamon, pineapple, vanilla and sugar and cook over medium heat until the pineapple is very soft (add more water when necessary). When the pineapple is ready reduce liquid. Add milk and boil over low heat until the milk has reduced to half.
Serve chilled.
