A good Dominican meal will not be complete without a dulcito (a sweet) right before 'el cafecito' that dots the i in our meals. A tropical country and a great variety of fruits make for Dominicans' taste for juices and shakes.

Yes, after I did the cake , I came to post a comment and I saw yours, but it was to late. That is why I suggested to change the recipe because there are people like me that will make the same mistake.

Why are the measurements of the ingredients in different amounts from the Spanish version to the English version??

It doesn't matter. You can follow whichever you feel more comfortable with.
