There are two versions of arroz con leche. One is prepared with sugar, one without. They are basically the same, just skip the sugar.

I have tried this recipe twice, and both times the color of the pudding is quite brown. I follow the directions exactly...but could there be something I am doing wrong?

I have made this recipe also, but I substitute the sugar with a can of condensced milk and I also add a can of coconut milk. I like mine pretty spice so I add a little piece of fresh ginger and another stick of cinammon. Every time I make some, I have to take to my coworker, she loves it!!
