Hello ladies

My name is Jeannette and I love dominican cake. I have a home business of children's birthday parties, party planning and I also decorates cakes. I would love to make a dominican cake and bring it in to my business. But everytime I try to make a dominican cake it never raises and ends up hard inside. It looks like it's not cooked even though I leave it as long as the recipe requires. I dont know what I'm doing wrong.

Attached is a picture of some of the cakes I make. If I finally get the recipe right I know it will be a big hit. PLEASE HELP

PS I'm sorry that the picture is so big I don't know how to make it smaller in this forum....
