I'm born and raised in London, UK but both my parents are from the carribean, different islands though. My mum's Dominican but not from DR, from Dominica(a french island); my dad's from Monseratt(a british island). My hubby's dominicano and we have a beautiful 7 month old daughter who is a mix of all these great cultures!
