Hi...my mother in law is Dominican and the way she makes Cream of Wheat is by using milk with the Cream of Wheat grains, stirring constantly and adding cinnamon and sugar. If its too thick you can always add more milk. Hope that helps. I make it for my son all the time and he loves it.
