Pan de Huevo Recipe Hello All I am new and have decided to post because I have been looking for a recipe for "pan de huevo" for a long time to no avail. If anyone has one that they would be willing to share I would be most grateful. Thanks, Mofonga

I have never heard of this bread, so I am also interested. Can you give a little more detail on this?

It is a golden yellow bread, not sweet. It is usually baked in a large loaf. We have always had it with coffee. You dip your coffee in it. There was a bakery that we would get it from here in NYC but it closed about a year ago and we are all desperate for some more. My parents would have it when they were young in the Dominican Republic but I have yet to see it in any cookbook. I had a recipe (that I never got to try) but it was lost in a computer crash.
