This time we have a t-shirt, a tote and one of our cookbooks for the same lucky winner. Keep reading for the rules.

Well, time for a brief thanks to some of our sponsors, who make possible for us to bring you our site and this giveaway.

A special shout out to Aeropaq, the courier I have been using for more than a decade to receive my purchases from the US. If you live in the DR, and like me buy a lot online, or you wish to send something to somebody in the DR, check them out. There is a reason why I still use them.

Need a gift for a special someone with a Dominican taste? Our sponsor Fair Harvest has a great collection of delicious dessert sauces with tropical flavors. Pay them a visit and let them know Aunt Clara sent you.

Are you a foodie living in Santo Domingo? Then you must visit our sponsor Paragourment, the store for the professional cook and the food enthusiast.

To participate:

  • You must be 18 years or older. You can be a resident of any country.
  • You can make one entry per day, the more you post the better your chances of winning are.
  • Please follow at least one of our sponsors on Facebook or Twitter (mention which one your follow in your post).
  • Make sure to add the correct email in your post. If I cannot contact you I will void your entry.

Giveaway closes on Friday 01/30/2012 12:00 AM ET, and the winners will be chosen via Random.org and announced in this same thread. Your gift will be shipped within a week of our contacting you.
Best of luck to you, and thanks for participating.

Hi, being of Dominican decent I was so excited when I came accross your site. Your recipes are exactly what my house was filled with. My grandmother, who is sorely missed must have been from the same area as your details brought so many vivid memories of helping and being behind her in the kitchen. I am enamored with the fact that you took the time to write these down! I continue to bid you the very best and look forward to referencing your site in the future.

Love that I came across your site! I am far away from Mami and Mama and crave real Dominican cooking. I will be trying out some recipes for my New Years Celebration Party :) Further — I love how beautiful your site– nice clean look, elegant pictures and excellent layout— which adds so much to an already great website!

I am following Siempre Bella and awaiting confirmation from Dominican Bookshop.

I remember cooking with my grandmother when I was a child…. Your recipes brought back lots of memories.

I live in the Midwest (I think I’m the only Dominican in Iowa) and is kind of challenging to find ingredients sometimes but when I do find them it’s all about Dominican cooking.

Thank you for keeping our traditions alive.
