My grandfather was an Architect in the Dominican Republic back in the 1920’s….he built the “San Felipe Catedral” in Puerto Plata. He was Puerto Rican, but found work in the “Republica” . My “Abuela” followed him , and later bore three children on the island.

Even though I’m not really Dominican, I love the island, and culture, cusine and people!!!

It would be an honor to win!

During my last visit to DR I saw the work of this artist at Cuesta. I loved them. I just moved to my own place with my son after some difficult times. This would be such a great addition to our new space…something with Sabor Dominicano!
